Ryan Vanderploeg, CPA

Ryan grew up on a farm in the Vulcan area. After graduating high school, he worked for a year in Canmore before deciding to study accounting at Lethbridge College. Ryan later transferred to the University of Lethbridge to complete his degree. While at the U of L, Ryan went through the Integrated Management Experience program, in which students participated in a live case consulting project and organized a fundraiser for a local not-for-profit.

After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Management degree in December 2016, Ryan accepted a position with Shaw and Associates Chartered Accountants. In 2020 Ryan attained his CPA designation.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys baking, helping out on his parents' farm, hiking and skiing in the mountains, playing piano, and working with his horses.
